Sandton and suburbs within its borders are by definition considered to have an exclusive status. One such suburb is Sandown.

An affluent vibey executive demographic employed mostly in the commercial sector seek to make this home. The property usage does however cater for single executives, starter families and established families giving the suburb a pricing structure for most of the well-heeled residents consisting of apartments, townhouses, cluster homes and freehold homes.

The suburb is by todays’ definition reasonably young which means the architecture is mostly modern and offers a specific aesthetic.

The stability of the suburb as a residential property or within the rental market is echoed by the new developments of which are mostly apartment buildings which are in line with the new densification initiatives for future developments which also sets a standard in exclusivity.

The move towards a revived lifestyle of safety and convenience that apartments offer brings all the important amenities so much closer like the proximity to the commercial hubs in Rivonia and Sandton CBD almost eliminating the congested roads and wasted time reaching destinations.

Free-hold homes have an inviting appeal with manicured designer gardens and neat side-walks lined with trees which speaks of an almost idyllic setting to raise children in within the confines of a suburban setting.

For residents that need to travel to Midrand, Centurion or Pretoria have the added convenience of the Gautrain terminus on the doorstep further adding to the convenience factor.

For families with children attending school there is a number of reputable established schools to choose from such as Sandown High School, Hyde Park High School, St David’s College and Parkview Junior School.

Major roads connecting to other amenities are Rivonia Road, Bowling Avenue and access to the M1 all within easy access.

Shopaholics are not left in the lurch as all the exclusive malls are nearby such as the Sandhurst Centre, Sandton City, Nelson Mandela Square and Rosebank Mall.
