The suburb of Nieuw Muckleneuk is a diverse and evolving suburb although it is a well-established suburb. One of the major reasons for this is its prime location in relation to amenities like schools, commercial and retail hubs along with main roads in the suburb that offer commercial property usage for gust houses and B&B’s.

The reason why guest houses and B&B’s are a viable investment prospect is their proximity to major event centers like Loftus Versveld and various embassies located on Stanza Bopape Road only a few blocks away.

The diverse property usage extends to apartments, freehold homes and townhouses which attracts a large market. The proximity of the suburb to the University of Pretoria and easy access to the Unisa campus in Muckleneuk and Groenkloof means student accommodation in apartments could be viewed as a long term investment servicing a bond and monthly rental income which increases with market norms.

Freehold homes are more in the classic style dating to when Pretoria was emerging as a town which means D.I.Y renovation enthusiasts will find the right home to renovate and have a piece of nostalgia to display.

There are a number of more modern homes which means the architecture is not limited attracting a younger market too.

Property values are driven by demand and when viewing the property values it is evident that the suburb enjoys a high degree of demand putting the suburb in the middle to upper-class market which in part also stems for the higher commercial property market.

The well maintained homes and manicured gardens speak of a sense of family and community with the benefit of tranquillity.

There are a number of reputable schools close to the suburb for younger families. Here is a list of some of the schools, Pretoria Boys’ High School, Waterkloof Primary School and Laerskool Anton Van Wouw.
