Naturena is a well-established suburb located South of Johannesburg. As is the norm with most suburbs across Gauteng, there are specific nodes and hubs that sustain residents, along with the amenities which add value.
In the case of Naturena it is a suburb which is greatly sustained by industrial hubs and South Africa’s largest teaching hospital namely Baragwaneth Hospital.
The property use is mixed with town-houses and freehold homes. Town-houses range from the mid R400’s to above the R600 mark and freehold homes are equally priced depending on the specific property and what they have to offer. The rental market is huge in the suburb not due to any misnomer but is in high demand partly due to the current economic climate thus making buy-to-let investments a sound prospect.
The benefit the suburb has in steadily rising property values is the Southgate Ridge Security estate which has added some exclusivity to the suburb.
The important need for malls are catered for either within the suburb or neighboring suburbs and towns which are closer than a map would have you believe.
One event venue that should be mentioned is Soccer City which is placed conveniently close to attend those major events hosted there and of course the major Nasrec Expo Events Complex and the other major attraction being Gold Reef City which attracts scores of day tourists.
There are more than enough schools to choose form near to the suburb such as;
Naturena Primary School
Elethu Temba Public School
Meredale Primary School
Malls close to the suburb are;
Southgate Shopping Mall
Southdale Shopping Centre
