The old east of Pretoria has for long been sought after in the property market amongst the middle-class and the prestigious market.

The status has changed with time and of course the newer developed suburbs or extensions are more expensive and it would be safe to assume these properties would easily fall within the prestigious market.

Suburbs like Lynnwood Park has maintained a status of exclusivity for a long time and once the suburb was boomed off property values had a slight increase.

The other reason property is in such high demand is the prime location of Lynnwood Park, being on Glenwood Road and then a short drive onto January Masilela Drive and onto Atterbury Road. This connects to the N1 freeway at the Menlyn Park Shopping Centre.

The mixed architecture is conventional and then more contemporary designs as the suburb grew. The trend in the late 70’s early 80’s was a contemporary spin on the Mediterranean architecture of which many homes in Lynnwood Park have. Lynnwood Park is a small suburb that will appeal to a large market because of its familial and safe environment.

The suburb is also in a prime location with a number of reputable schools within easy access such as Pro Arte Alpen Park, Hoerskool Menlopark, The Glen High School and Hoerskool Garsfontein.

With Menlyn Maine becoming a major commercial hub many residents will find that their office of employ has relocated here adding further to the beneficial location of the suburb.
