Lynnwood Manor in the old Pretoria East, has undergone a re-development in recent years. Homes between Meiring Naude Road, Lynnwood Road and Daventry Road were demolished to make way for the major retail and commercial hub of Lynnwood Bridge.

This has injected a new demand for the residential property in Lynnwood Manor and added more value into the suburb’s property values as a result.

The suburb is a mixed use suburb with freehold homes and apartments with a retirement village with the new mall and commercial hub.

The architecture and location of the suburb are most likely the two major factors in driving demand for property in the suburb with well established homes of conventional and modern architecture.

Homes on Lynburn Road have views over to the south east of Pretoria and the valley below.

Major routes which confirm the prime location of the suburb are roads like;

Lynnwood Road, which takes you to suburbs like Silverton or closer to the CSIR and the light industrial hubs of Persequor and Scientia Park

The on and off ramp to the N1 north and south which conveniently links to Menlyn Park Shopping Mall

Meiring Naude Road which is an alternative to reaching the Pretoria CBD and suburbs like Hatfield

Schools which service the suburb are well established and have good reputations like;

Christian Life Centre

Hoerskool Die Wilgers

Laerskool Skuilkrans

St Paulus Laerskool

Laerskool Lynnwood

There are a number of Guest houses in the suburb which cater for business tourists which just adds to the appeal of the suburb’s general value and its central location.

It is an ideal suburb to use while exploring the various cultural sites in Pretoria and the surrounding suburbs like;

Strubenkop Security Village

Menlopark

Lynnwood Glen
