The greater Centurion seems to be bursting at its’ seams when looking at the amount of property developments under construction and in completion.

The market trend with newer developments is following a demand towards golf, security and lifestyle estates. Even under the current depressed economic climate these estates are in high demand and this is due to factors such as the security they offer, exclusivity and importantly their general prime location.

One such development is the Brooklands Lifestyle Estate situated close to Samrand, Midrand, Olifantsfontein and Rooihuiskraal. This is an estate which has utilized its location very well considering the congested freeways and other infrastructure like schools and malls.

As is the norm with property values in estates it can be safe to assume their values are high but within the norm within this market segment.

Being a newer development means the architecture is modern which in small part adds to the generally higher property values and increases demand.

The estate has a townhouse development which means the middleclass income group has an opportunity to buy into the lifestyle and security with the benefit of drawing on the stability and growth of general property values thus making it a good starting point from which to upgrade from within the estate.

The region in general has experienced a revival in what was once considered a remote location, now being a prime location with amenities like the Blu Valley Mall and expansion of Samrand to mention two.

Travel to industrial hubs in Olifantsfontein and Midrand are minutes away on major roads like Olifantsfontein Road and Pretoria Main Road leading north and south.

Residents to the estate are spoilt for choice when looking for reputable schools. Here is a list of some of the schools, Summerhill International School, Curro Thatchfield and Centurion Christian School.
