FAQ's:
- After I'm registered, how do I submit offers on behalf of a client?
- Simply click on the "Make an Offer" button on any property screen and submit the offer as normal. This offer is then locked to your Agency's name.
- Can Agents submit offers to Standard Bank any other way than online?
- No. In order to earn commission and for Standard Bank to fairly consider and compare all received offers, all offers must be logged online on this platform.
- What happens after I have logged an offer?
- After logging an offer and submitting the counter signed EasySell OTP, the bank will lease with the seller. If the OTP is accepted or declined, you will receive an e-mail confirming the status and next steps.
- How much commission will I earn?
- For Non-mandated Agents, Standard Bank pays 4% commission (Excl. VAT) upon successful registration of an EasySell property where no alternative agreement exists with the Bank. This offer does not include properties sold on an online or physical auction, where commission will only be payable if explicit arrangements have been made with the auctioneer on a case by case basis.
- Standard Bank's Online Auctions seem different, can Agents also market these properties?
- Yes indeed. Standard Bank welcomes Estate Agents that bid on their Online Auctions on behalf of clients and remunerate them with 3% commission upon Registration. Just make sure you upload your Proxy Letter and Fidelity Fund Certificate, when participating in an Online Auction.
- How many properties can I assign
- Each registered agent can assign a specific number of properties to him or herself to market. The number of assignments vary by area and agent, however, the number of properties left are displayed when assigning a property.

- Which OTP should I use
- Standard Bank only accepts the EasySell OTP with no amendments made which can be downloaded here and on every property page under the “Make an offer” button.
- Where do I submit my offer
- All offers must be submitted online by clicking on the “Make an offer” button located on each property.
- Can I unassign a property and then assign a new property
- You can unassign a property, which means you will no longer receive leads for that property, however, you will not be able to assign a new property until the original property has been sold.
- Can I make an offer on a property which is not assigned to me
- Yes, you can make offers on any EasySell property, however, we will only supply the address, contact details and send leads to the assigned agents.
