Water allocation consists of 2 hectares of [hidden] irrigation scheme water (the equivalent of 14 million litres per annum!). A special arrangement for 20 000 litres of drinking water, comes from the neighbouring farm, at a monthly cost. There is an old borehole, fitted with a workable, submersible pump … currently not in use. The cement dam is lined and used for storing water.
